The Band

Rude Blues are now available for bookings

Dave Moss – Guitar & Vocals
Picked up a guitar at 7 after being fascinated by a compilation my dad put on in the car, included were a few Hendrix tunes. After being confused about how such crazy sounds could be produced by a mere acoustic guitar (at the time I didn’t know anything else existed) – I’ve never put the guitar down since.
The blues has always been the music closest to my heart, although there have been many diversions – Tom Robison of BBC 6 music named me ‘loop meister and one man band’ when I was a solo musician using loop pedals and an acoustic guitar to create layered songs and instrumentals; I’ve played in rock dance bands; dabbled in drum and bass and music production; created professional guitar-based sounds libraries; written songs and lots more.
More recently I was lead guitarist and singer for Sussex-based blues band Railroad, gigging over 30 gigs a year in Sussex; and lead guitarist for local band Lee Ainsely’s blues storm (Giants of Rock, 100 Club, Komedia).
Although I’m into all sorts of music still Rude blues brings me back to my roots and favoured 3 piece setup. I love to improvise and make the guitar sing, I hope you enjoy the show!
